I’m Dawn (the Mom), We’re a close knit family, sometimes the staff slip up and call me “Mom” by accident. I’m always handing out unsolicited advise. I think it’s because I have an opinion on every subject. I know they love hearing from me. You’ll hear… ”Ok, ok Dawn” Sometimes they just start talking over me. I do have two of my own real kids here. Destin and Aronisha (Roni). Fabulous kids! You’ll meet them or talk to them on the phone when you order flowers. My brother Steve is part owner with me. He’s a real Gem. Well…. Diamond in the rough. I’m so proud of my family and my Main Floral family. We get a little loud and sassy in the design room. The code word “betsie” works most of the time to quell the antics, but once in while someone has to be reminded customers are within ear shot of the crazy talk. We love what we do, that’s why we get up in the morning. To make people happy!
I’m Megan, I’ve worked here my whole life. I’m probably going to work here the rest of my life. I’m either really cranky or really funny, there is no in-between. I’m the driver, so I do most all the deliveries with care and love. I drive because if I stay in the shop too long, “they” would drive me completely insane. Although when I’m out on the road most of the day I sometimes tend to miss all the fun, laughter and the inside jokes that occur throughout the day. When I am not on the road and stuck here in the shop I also enjoy designing, working with customers and of course my lunch break. Even though there is always the up’s and down’s in every job we are always here for each other, support each other and do the best we can. We strive to make every order and every arrangement the best!
Hi, I’m Roni! (Aronisha if you can pronounce it.) I’m a Proud Floral Designer here and One of the Kids 
I Love to work with Flowers all day long. I love to Mix Colors and Textures that compliment eachother. Over the past 6 Years my Tastes in Design have matured, and I realized that it takes not only Artistic Talent but Method and Experience to get it perfect. I learned most of what I know from my Mom… And though I sometimes want to Rebel.. I have to admit Mom’s are always Right! I know this to be true now.. I have a daughter of my own. Sometimes my Serious or Honest Nature gets me into trouble here in the shop…And I’m not the fastest Designer because I’m Careful with quality and technique. While I’m still learning about flowers, I’m learning about Life at the same time. My Biggest Accomplishment thus far is realizing I will never be done learning about either.
Hey there! I’m Melissa, I have a wonderful husband, a puppy named Martini and a beautiful new home! I have been employed at the best place on earth for two years now! Who wouldn’t love coming to work everyday with good people, fresh flowers and lots of laughs.
You could say I am one of the wackiest of the bunch here! I enjoy making the most of everyday and having a blast while doing it. We always joke around how we could have are own reality TV show at Main Floral. We definitely would be entertaining, always telling jokes, many R rated…”That’s what she said”, throwing dead flowersacross the room at eachother, playing jokes on the near by businesses or calling people out on their stupid antics then laughing about it with no hard feelings.
Sometimes we will catch eachother singing in the cooler or doin a little dance around the shop. If you are lucky you may be one of the customers that just happened to over hear or see some of this craziness! We often make coffee runs to keep us going, I’m a strong believer thatcoffee is a main source of all our silly behavior. While most of the employees are actually family here, others consider themselves to be a part of this dis-functional family.
Of course along with all the stimulating entertainment we create around here, there is also a very serious side. We are all hard workers and know when to be on our best behavior. Taking orders and consultaions for funeral services can be profound but knowing how important it is to design beautiful arrangements for something so important to others is worth it. We take pride in each order we work on and strive to provide quality arrangements and care for our customers.
Hi, Im Sara. I am a designer here at Main Floral. I am the most talented designer in the world…it’s true, ask anyone. I’ve been working at Main Floral for 5 years and I love it. I started working here when I was still in High School. It was a good place to start and grow, I’ve learned so much about life and family values.
Some days I can’t wait to get to work to have fun with my coworkers. I just had a baby! He’s the cutest thing, and the love of my life!!! I hang his picture next to my workstation and give him little kisses through out the day. I love fashion and keeping up with trends. I like to think that I bring some of my fashion forwardness into my work/designs.
This Is Destin. We’re waiting for him to write a short bio. He is one of the Kids… the favorite one He is great with People. He plays a big part in the Flower Shop business. His Strengths include Customer Care, and Computer problems. He also has talent in Design. He is the Man for demolishing and redoing Displays in the shop. Destin is always willing to fill in where there are gaps. It’s always “Destin do that” ”Destin do this” His generosity is often taken for granted… there is just so much of it. Destin also has a life, outside of the Shop. He works hard in the Kiwanis Organization and is employed in a home where he gives as much as he can to less fortunate young adults.
Hi. I’m the other Meghan- I’m a designer here at Main Floral. I’m usually around on the weekends or holidays…as I work another full time job. Recently I’ve been filling in when they need me. I’ve been at Main Floral for 8 years now! It really is fun to work with such diverse and caring people. They are like family to me. Don’t get me wrong- The floral business is hard work! Lots of late nights, knife cuts, thorn pricks, sweat and tears. But it is also a very rewarding job, and I like to be able to say I had a part in making somone’s day special.
